Supervised Classes (When Your Teacher Is Absent)

There may be occasions when the teacher for a particular lesson will be absent. This does NOT mean the class in question has been cancelled and you are free to wander about the school or engage in unproductive and disruptive behaviour. Another teacher will always be assigned to supervise the class and conduct the lesson as planned by your subject teacher. As such, you are required to remain in your classroom waiting quietly and prepared to work, until your supervisor arrives.

If the substitute teacher is delayed, you should use the opportunity to occupy yourself with meaningful academic activities such as studying, completing assignments or attempting practice questions in your textbooks. You should remain in the classroom throughout the duration of the lesson.
