Sadly, after months (March to October 2020) of relatively low case numbers and transmission rate in the country, the COVID-19 situation has taken an unwelcomed turn for the worst. This is despite the commendable efforts of relevant authorities and most members of the public. However, we should not despair and must continue to play our part in stringently observing and practicing all recommended transmission prevention measures.
At CMMSS the health, safety and protection of our students, staff and visitors are top priorities and everything will be done to ensure the school remains a Coronavirus-free environment.
As such anyone visiting the school (during the vacation and beyond) will be required to observe the following:
- Wear a face mask which covers mouth and nostrils
- Before entering the building stop at the sanitization station (at the main entrance) where hand santizer will be applied and screening for abnormal temperatures will be performed
- Those visiting in groups will be required to maintain the recommended six feet physical distance
Hand washing stations have been installed at various locations on the compound and visitors are highly encouraged to use those.
It is hoped everyone will comply with these regulations and thus help protect themselves and others.
